Tinplate Sheet
Electrolytic tinplate is low-carbon mild steel sheet or coil coated on both surfaces with tin that is applied in continuous electrolytic operation. The surface of electrolytic tinplate is normally subjected to a passivation treatment and to oiling.

Electrolytic tinplate has been widely used in the electronic industry as a protective and solderable coating for electronic components, wires, printed circuit boards, and integrated circuit blocks due to its excellent corrosion resistance and solderability. Tinplate also has nontoxic and good ductility properties, making it widely used in food, medicine, commodity, instrument and general packaging. Under normal conditions of transport and storage, electrolytic tinplate shall be suitable for surface treatments such as established lacquering and printing operations.
